My kids are driving me INSANE.
There I said that, too.
Call me a bad mom, whatever. I really don’t give a rats a$. We all have these sort of days (or 9 in my case), so put down your rose-colored glasses & “oh-gosh-how-can-she-say-that” attitude and just go with it.
Buckaroo has been off from school for last 9 days. DaddyMac was off from work for those 9 days, too. 5 out of those 9 days were spent stuck inside the house with 2 under-the-weather kiddies and a can of Lysol (I think it’s safe to say one can get high off Lysol). Miss Mac is highly constipated, pumped up with Miralax and Laxatives. It’s getting absurd that I have to plan my day around her crap (literally). They’ve both been whining sacks of TV-hogging, halloween-candy-eating doo-doo the last 9 days, too. To top it off, I am PMS’ing, or so I think, but who really knows with my whacked out hormones. The acne on my face & few extra pounds of water I’m carrying around seem to agree.
Bottom line is: I. AM. DONE.
Disclaimer: I love my kids. It’s just one of those days….

I refer to it as "Too much togetherness". And my favorite day of the week has been Monday, lately because everyone in this house goes back to school/work. Ahh
Of course you love your children. It is okay to vent and get it out…
OMGosh girl!! How that things get better!! Glad that you have somewhere to vent though!!
We all feel that way sometimes though…so don't think that you are alone!!

I know exactly the kind of day you mean………that's what night is for. So you can see them sleeping and remember that they are angelic STILL sometimes.

Good luck. I had a day JUST LIKE THIS on Saturday. I feel your pain.
