My life these past few days has been one busy ball of hodgepodge. Instead of trying to make sense of it for you, I’m going to throw in a giveaway to thank you for understanding that I am just too darn busy to put together a decent post!

* I got bangs! Well, sort of. I got side bangs. and I LOVE them. If you are anything like me, your face is dry and in desperate need of a suntan, which puts you into a downward “I-can’t-stand-what-I-look-like” spiral. So, what’s a girl to do? Get her hair cut and colored, of course! It’s not much of a change, just enough to peel my eyes away from the massive third eye growing on my left cheek. But I love it! Do you?

* My freakin’ tooth cracked today and I doubt I’ll be able to see the dreaded “D” in time to chow down the next few days. It could actually be a blessing in disguise diet-wise. I am so afraid to chew on the cracked tooth which is really going to minimize my options the next few days. I just don’t want it to get worse ’cause you all know that there is basically nothing I fear more than dental work.

* We got over 20″ of snow in my neck of the woods, and my town has proved that they have no effective plans for clearing roads anytime soon. The last time a plow came down my road was Sunday! It’s gross. And, just as I anticipated, it’s getting ugly and slushy, and is no longer fun to look at. School has been canceled ALL WEEK, which means that the kids have only been in school for half of the month! Kind of funny if you think of it that way. Funny as in the punch-drunk kind of funny. As in if I don’t laugh I may just cry and scream and lay in the corner shaking…..My kids are literally jumping around my house! Go. Back. To. School.

* I made my final to-do list for the holiday season. I’ve spent the last few days shopping, taking Miss Mac to the doctors for the inevitable Christmas week ear infection, and even getting a head start of my returns (stay tuned for a post about that!) I have one gift left to wrap, and I will start cooking tomorrow night. This is always the time I find the most depressing. All of the hype and excitement from the past month or so is going to be over in like 2 days. And then we won’t get that back for another 345 days or so, depending on when I choose to gear up for the holidays. I just wish that the spirit you feel this time of year could last year round.

And now, for the giveaway…

A few weeks ago, I received a nifty calendar to test drive called the Busy Body Books Weekly Wall Grid & I would not have survived this last month without it! The BBB Weekly Grid calendar has 7 columns for you to assign to each member of your family so that you can keep track of everyone’s schedules in one place. Since the columns are side-by-side it’s very easy to coordinate all appointments, projects, and commitments for everyone in your household.

Aside from its ample writing space, clean design, and two-week view, I loved how versatile this calendar is. You can choose anything you’d like to customize your columns, which makes it a very personalized way to organize your life. I customized my columns this way: The CEO, Buckaroo, Miss Mac, DaddyMac, Important Reminders, Dinner, and (of course!) My Blog!

Busy Body Book offers a few other styles of organizers so you are sure to find one that suits your families needs the best. One lucky reader is going to choose an organizer of their choice to help you resolve to organize your life in 2010! Here is how you can win:
