DaddyMac’s favorite hobby is yardwork. He actually loves mowing the lawn and trimming the shrubs, & such. Sometimes I feel bad for him because our yard requires a lot of upkeep, and I know that any time you have to do something, it’s no longer fun. And quite honestly, I’m not much of a yardwork kinda gal–I’ll work in the garden and pull weeds, but that’s about how much help I’ll lend. But, eitehr way, if you call here on any given weekend day and ask what we’ve been up to, I’m certain that the word “yardwork” will be apart of my answer {my girlfriends can vouch for this–I am sure they secretly giggle about it!}.
Last weekend, I was busy doing housework while DaddyMac was busy doing yardwork. Or so I thought. After hearing louds yells of excitement and lots of noise coming from the yard, I turned from my pile of dirty dishes {did I mention I really want a dishwasher?!!} and saw this:
I guess I should no longer feel sorry for him. That looks like a lot of fun!

You should see OUR lawn! Takes DH 4 hours to mow. Needless to say, he’s a cranky pants when it’s done. I miss our 1/2 acre property!!

My husband is the yard work pro around here too (I am so grateful for that). He keeps our grass looking green, our porch looking pristine, and all of the bugs away!

Hubby hates yard work – so he pays someone to mow it – they were here last night so tonight we can go outside and enjoy this wonderful fall weather that’s just started! Looks like they were having a ton of fun!

I don’t do any Yardwork unless absolutely necessary- it was in our marriage contract!!! But yeah SuperHubby and the kids are out there all the time and for some reason they don’t seem to mind! Hmmmm? Doesn’t matter it leaves me alone in the house.
