It wasn’t worth the battle!

Job Description {of the day}: Disciplinarian

Miss Mac loves  to shop.  She loves fashion…and clothes…and jewelry…and perfume…and accessories!  She loves bringing her purse and spending her own money.  She loves spending mine even more.  She carries her own bag of purchases throughout the mall with pride.  The picture below proves it…

Problem is….there’s something majorly wrong with that picture {and what you don’t see is even worse!}

Go ahead, look closely.

That’s right….my almost-4-year-0ld is carrying a Victoria Secret bag!  What’s in it, you ask?

Oh, it’s just an adorable pink stuffed puppy that she got for free because I bought something from the Victoria Secret Pink line.  Harmless.  Unless, of course, you look closely and read what it says…

I swear I did not know what it said until after they put it in the bag!

In parenting, you have to pick and choose your battles.  I had several stores I still wanted to get to, and if I chose to pry that bag from her little bony fingers, the crying and screaming would certainly have spoiled my fun.  Besides, she can’t even read yet!

She is quite the little fashionista, isn’t she? And since she can’t read, what’s the harm? And the other hand, if she takes it for show-and-tell at preschool…

LOL. That is pretty funny. I don’t see it as a huge problem because like you said she can’t read yet but I am sure if others see her out with it they might be thinking stuff but who cares. She loves it and that is all that counts!

Hilarious – and well done by Victoria’s Secret, they draw the fans in young!

Got my Project 52 up just in the nick of time! Wasn’t sure I’d be able to get one together.

This happens to everyone! LOL Ok, not this exactly, but similar stuff. Oh my goodness, fighting with her at that point would’ve made the rest of the day not go well at all. Just make sure this puppy isn’t the one that goes on sleep overs with her! giggle
